Happy almost summer friends! I am so excited to share our new June Learn and Play Toddler Activity guide with all of you! I started creating these guides back in January in order to take the stress out of planning activities for your toddler. I would find myself spending hours upon hours on Pinterest and getting lost down a hole before I could find a simple activity that I knew would be meaningful for my own daughter.
So, I created these activity guides that had a month’s worth of activities that aligned with the early learning standards for 2-3 year olds. The activity guide has a combination of activities from other teachers, mothers, and ideas found online. While the other half are activities that I have created as part of a companion packet of hands-on activities. All together, this guide provides about 25 different activities that you can do at home with your kids throughout the entire month of June!

June’s activity guide for toddlers is full of fun, hands-on, and meaningful activities for your 2-3 year olds to do at home. The guide is broken down into 8 categories that are important for your toddler to engage in! The categories include:
- Sensory
- Gross Motor (large movements your body makes)
- Fine Motor (small movements that are important for pre-writing development)
- Literacy
- Early Math
- Social/Emotional
- Science
- Social Studies
Each activity in the June guide and companion activity packet goes along with fun summer themes like beach, ocean animals, pirates, and ice cream! We want our toddlers to have fun learning while they play and these activities will help the do that. Some of our favorites from this month are the Pirate Treasure Hunt, Move Like an Ocean Animal Game, Seashell Color Cards, Ocean animal letter cards, and Walk the Plank Pirate Color Game!
To get your guide and the 12 hands-on activities in the companion activity packet, make sure you head to my Teachers Pay Teachers store here!

I can’t wait to continue sharing these play and learn guides each month for our toddlers! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me!
