Hi all! Happy Hump Day and welcome to Oh, Snap! It’s Almost August linky party! I’m so excited to be joining in with other fabulous bloggers from Teacher Deals and Dollar Steals to bring you a new monthly linky party to share themed products for the upcoming month!
Each month we’ll be coming back on the 15th to share new products that will help you in your classroom for the next month!
Through this linky, I hope you will not only find new and exciting ideas to try in your classroom BUT you will also snag some great dollar deals for products that you’ve been hoping to buy!
This month, most teachers are starting to plan for dun dun dun BACK TO SCHOOL 2015! So, that’s the theme I’ll be sharing with you today.
I feel like I JUST started summer because in NJ we don’t go back to school until September with our kiddos, but like any other teacher, I’m already planning for the year ahead and designing my classroom decor.
I have been drooling over Creative Teaching Press’s new classroom decor collections. Especially the Painted Palette design. Have you seen it yet?
I just love the colors in it, the motivational sayings, and the scalloped borders that you can use to mix and match!
I knew that this would be the color scheme and theme that I would want to use for my 2015-2016 first grade classroom. I always want to create a bright and cheerful environment for my students to learn in and I think these colors will be a great fit to help me accomplish that.
I wanted to create some classroom decor sets to use with these bright borders and colorful designs. The first two sets that I created are my new Soft Brights Alphabet Posters and my Soft Brights Leveled Library Labels! I just love the way these turned out!

My Soft Brights Alphabet Posters come in two different versions. One set has two letters with corresponding pictures and labels on an 81/2×11 paper. While the second set has one letter per page. Each letter has a colorful and cute image to use as examples for your students. This set of posters are printer friendly and a great addition to any bright and cheerful classroom!

The next set of classroom decor that I have created are leveled library labels for the elementary classroom. These labels come with two versions also. Both sets have Fountas & Pinnell reading level clearly labeled as well as the corresponding DRA level.
I always find myself using a correlation chart to look up which levels correspond with each other so I’m so excited that these labels will now have both clearly displayed.
One set of labels has a white background with soft bright letters and dot border, while the second version has a black background which make the soft bright letters really pop!

Both of my new classroom decor sets will be on sale for $1 each for the next 24 hours! I hope you like them!

Jayme, your library labels looks Ah-ma-zing! I love them! That painted palette décor really is gorgeous. I haven't seen that collection before. I can't wait to see pics of your room set up. And….we just talk a moment to savor not going back to school until Sepember?! Me too. It's great!
