Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope you’re all having a wonderful Teacher’s Appreciation Week! My class parents and administration have been doing a wonderful job helping us to feel appreciated and loved. Not only are we enjoying the fun goodies and special treats but my class is knee-deep in Mother’s Day preparations!
We’re hosting our annual “Lovely Ladies’ Cafe,” on Friday and we are quite a craft-making factory at the moment in order to get ready! So, my Wordless Wednesday through the linky party with Miss DeCarbo, goes along with this crafting course we’ve been moving along.
I broke out the paint today for the first time ALL YEAR! Yes, I said all year. I am NOT a fan of paint. Yucky paint hands, messy desks, and crying kids because they messed up and can’t erase (it happens) are some things that I like to avoid. I know that makes me a grumpy teacher but I love my crayons and markers. Okay, maybe just crayons but I let markers make an appearance every once in a while!
So I have to know in this great “paint debate” what side are you on? To paint or not to paint, that is the question. Are you like me and try and keep the painting to a minimal? Or do you have a better system for painting and have come to enjoy it? If so, please share your magic in the comments below!
Looking forward to hearing from both sides of the great “paint debate!”
